With a photograph taken of the canvas every 30 minutes, this stop frame animation film shows the creation of the large work “Barcode Geo”.
Demonstrating the time, patience and skill going into making this painting, the canvas was filmed over 3 weeks and took 17 days to create.
Using over 30,000 dots of paint across 150 shades of colour, Barcode Geo unfolds in this film for all to see and there are NO background colours or lines painted.
This concept has brought a lot of positive feedback already, so future larger works will also be filmed and also shown when they are exhibited.
