Project Description
As I walked in Epping Forest at Snaresbrook, just for a moment as the sun dipped towards sunset, the sky lit up in a muted yellow with blasts of pink and orange.
I never cease to be inspired by the Winter forest and the tree silhouettes drained of colour set against a colourful sky.
There is a good level of impasto in this work which you will enjoy when the painting is lit, to bring out the brushstrokes deep in paint.
The painting is framed in wood, painted black by me and is ready to hang. This is the eighth in the series.
Signed, named and dated on the canvas reverse.
